Sansui 1000x Receiver Vintage Audio World Buying vintage hifi can be disappointing as this sansui 1000 x receiver was, did not sound great at all. The more efficient, the better. power wise it's in the same class as the 2000. 28 to 30wpc. i use my 2000 series receivers with sp 200 (sansui spkrs) @ 96db. on occasion i'll pair them up with my heresy's. i would think the 1000x would perform approx the same.

Just picked up a serviced and minty sansui 1000x! i love the toggles! i’ve owned and tried a few vintage receivers so far: pioneer sx 737, sx 450, kenwood 4600, and yamaha cr 600. i really liked the warmth of the sx 450, the 737 just ok, and i didn’t care for the cr 600. the kenwood was the most underwhelming.
