What Are Everyday Decisions Legal Capacity Research The focus of the everyday decisions research project is on how law shapes the everyday lives of people with intellectual disabilities. in this research, we include people with learning disabilities, people with acquired brain injuries and people with dementia in our understanding of intellectual disability. Professor rosie harding’s research, which includes the everyday decisions project and the supported will making follow up study, interrogates how socio legal understandings of ‘legal’ and ‘mental’ capacity interact in the everyday lives of people with intellectual disabilities, and has contributed to emerging reform to the support.
