In 2020 Get Rotary Camp For Children With Special Needs Akron rotary camp is able to do some amazing things because of all of the support by the generous donations, whether they be someone's time, resources, or a monetary donation. every donation allows us to do more to live out our mission of, "creating a world where there are only abilities!" pave the way for the next 100 years!. Each year, the rotary camp for children with special needs on portage lakes serves more than 1,700 kids and adults with a wide range of developmental and physical disabilities. many kids get to swim for the first time, have s’mores around the campfire and make lifelong friends!. This summer we launched our “rotary cares” program, in an attempt to lessen the loss of summer camp for our camper families. we provided funds for food, virtual camp activities, chrome books, social skills classes, and more. with fundraisers like #givingtuesday, we are able to continue working for the youth we serve. Akron rotary camp is a precious jewel in the akron community that needs your support to ensure our preservation and growth for the next 100 years. thank you so much for helping to celebrate 100 years along with supporting the 2024 regatta to benefit akron rotary camp.
