I just finished the gunslinger for the second time and am on to drawing of the three. the first time i read the gunslinger it was kind of a slog and i liked it but wasn’t crazy about it. this time i could hardly put it down and finished it quickly and it even moved up in my ranking of the books. has that happened to anyone else on a re read with that or the other books? did you like a book.
Just Finished My First Journey To The Dark Tower R Thedarktower I'm on my second journey (first extended journey) to the tower and i just finished the wastelands. the paragraph where roland goes full wordslinger on blain gave me chills!!!. The gunslinger is a great, strange little book: the almost familiar moments hearing the bars of hey jude, the burgers beer creep up, the resurrection dance, roland getting 'stuck' in tull with allie, aborting the preacher's demon, roland's traitor hands killing allie without a second's hesitation to ensure his journey to the tower was not. Just finished another journey to the tower, wanted to share my first edition set!. Just began my second journey to mid world (after finishing the series two months ago) and wow fans weren't kidding. the gunslinger literally feels like a different book on a re read.

I just finished my second journey to the tower like an hour ago. i'll probably start reading it soon (also for the second time) just to fill this goddamn emptiness.
