Artwork Of My Halo Reach Spartan Halo There are many meta storytelling aspects of halo: reach and bungie actually weaves these into the game quite cleverly. noble 6 was first introduced in the trailer “a spartan will rise”in which six is described as a “hyper lethal vector” and how “there is only one other spartan with that designation” (implying master chief). From what i remember hearing from playing halo: reach, the planet was described as humanity's fortress among the stars. but i think part of it too was the fact how humanity fought and defied the covenant even in the face of the onslaught that ensued. Actually spectacular. but something that’s always bothered me: reach establishes that spartans have existed before master chief, so how come, through all of halo 1, 2, and 3, master chief doesn’t come across a single other spartan. especially in halo 3 when it’s established that earth is all that the humans have left. I really like how halo players from the old and classic halo multiplayer games are trying to recreate their spartans as close and as accurate as possible,giving it a feeling that their fight is not over yet,keeping up the good fight. edit:damn,i never thought that i'll get 505 upvotes and find a lot of halo players answering my comment.

Be prepared. the games do little to show the absolute onslaught that is the covenant and their weaponry. games are fun. the books can be pretty gruesome. enjoy! the majority of the books are pretty solid reads but the guy above listed probably the best ones to start with to learn more about the spartan programs.
