Pea Our Edible Flowers The Flower Deli About in 2016 i established the flower deli and began growing and selling edible flowers to bakers, chefs and mixologists in nottinghamshire. the following year there was demand for my flowers further afield, so i set up my online shop and posted punnets of edible blooms all over the uk. it was a dream come true to see my flowers used by culinary artists for occasions of celebration and love. Pea our edible flowers the flower deli are pea blossoms edible they’re small trees in the pea family and among the first to bloom in the spring before they leaf out. if you grow peas, it is entirely worthwhile to harvest both their pods and their delicious, delicate greens. Nasturtiums are one of the most well known edible flowers because of their gorgeous looks and savoury, peppery flavour. due to the range of colours, sizes and the sturdiness of the flower they are incredibly versatile and can be eaten whole or separated into individual petals. Edible flowers phlox the perennial phlox is the only type that is edible. these beauties have an amazing scent and look so cute crystalised on cakes and desserts or floating in summer drinks. their flavour is sometimes described as slightly spicy but i find them quite sweet, a bit like sugarsnap peas. either way, they are just lovely.
