Here, at sherline products, each of our chucks is laser engraved with a company mark, chuck size, and jaw location. during the laser marking process the laser removes a bit of the surface and darkens the material below (figure 1, left). These extended pin jaws were designed for our laser marking customers who need to engrave parts up to 6′ (153mm)od and as small as .66′ (16.7mm) id, using our 3 jaw chucks manufactured after 2014*. the top jaws have four pin hole locations that hold 3 16′ hard steel dowel pins and attach to the master jaws with a socket head cap screw. Laser engraving demonstration using various sherline accessories including: "pin jaws", 3 jaw self centering chuck, cnc rotary table and tilting angle table.
