Even when the propositions seem better than the rtx 3070 on paper, the nvidia geforce rtx 3070 ti doesn’t really make any sense owing to its poor performance.

I recently bought an rtx 3070 ti from aorus and installed it and i am facing a lot of stutters throughout the days, this is really worrying aswell as annoying me at this point since i though i have a very decent pc now, but it turns out i get close to same fps as i would on my old card which was a 1060. The geforce rtx 3070 ti delivers frustratingly variable performance, often too close to an rtx 3070 for a price smack between it and the rtx 3080. it doesn't have quite the same impact as ampere's.

Seems nvidia wants to cash in on the scalper pricing. at least 3070 ti is only $100 more than 3070 and if they're more readily available at msrp, $700 for a gpu with 3070 ti performance is a good deal. but i guess we'll see if they're actually ever available at msrp.
